I'm Not Dead

Just in case you were wondering.

The same can't be said for these guys, though.

All the articles about Patrick Cranshaw say he was best known as Blue from Old School, but I think that's only because most people are ashamed to admit that they really remember him as the hobo in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. Admit it.

So long, Fred the Baker. Fare thee well, Buggy Ding Dong. God rest ye, Pappy from Bubble Boy. Why do they always die in threes?

Well, I guess I can delete my post for today. Or I could just change it to Stellar's blog instead.

Slackers.

Happy New Year to those of us left around, eh? Awww, yes, even Pee-wee too.

The old people at the place my sister works always die in threes. It's like some geriatric lottery. Nobody wants to go to sleep until the third one kicks off.

That happens where my mum works too! I think they either have pacts, or, when the second one goes, it's all hands to the poison chalice to see who can slip some in the other's tea first.

I've never seen PeeWee's Big Adventure (or whatever it was called). Do you recommend it?

You never seen Peewee's Big Adventure? What were you doing in the 80's!

Seriously, how old was that guy when he died? He already looked 106 in Peewee's Big Adventure.

Do think "Buggy" ever got to see Venice?

I think recomend is a strong word when we're talking about a Pee-Wee Herman movie. But if you like cheesy mid-80s Tim Burton movies staring a perpetual man-child, sure, knock yourself out. It sure beats Big Top Pee-Wee, anyway. Be sure an' tell 'em, Large Marge sent ya. A-hahahahaha!

I know! That was like 20 years ago, too. I can't believe the Dunkin Donuts guy was so old. He didn't look that old to me.

Actually, he had been living in Italy and died in Sicily, so he probably did. I didn't realize he was in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. He's been around a long time. I think the first time I saw him was as that creepy organ grinder guy from Batman Returns.
